The Challenge
Standard Motor Products Europe needed a trustworthy supplier who could manage their IT infrastructure, including everything from networking to desktops, and would do so at a cost-effective price. Their plans for a new building development over in Poland meant they needed a partner whom they could trust.
Their IT Manager needed professional support for the workload that comes with not only managing a large organisation’s IT system but also setting up a brand new multimillion pound site.

The Solution
Millgate helped set up and implement the new manufacturing site for SMPE in Poland. The multimillion pound investment into the building needed everything from servers and storage to licensing and additional security.
One of Millgate’s internal engineers flew to Poland to help scope the needs of the brand-new infrastructure and deploy the solution, working to tight deadlines to get the technology in place and ensure production started on time.
