Harrison Holmes was our winner for the award, with Muriam Khan and Melisa Mehmed being the other nominees.
Harrison was nominated by his tutor, Faye Marshall. She said: “Harrison was nominated because he is so polite, friendly, and very positive. He has put himself forward as a learner rep, helping to get everyone involved within his class.”
“He’s always got a smile on his face and is always testing the tutors to make sure they’re on the ball with things. He has excellent attendance and punctuality, and raises the spirits within the classroom.”
The award was presented by Steve Elliot, Assistant Principal for Engineering, Construction and Technology, and Rachel Topliss, Head of Employer Academy Partnerships and Work Related Activity.
The evening saw dozens of students win awards for their efforts, gathering at the Mowbray, Sheffield.
