To ensure effective management of activities that may affect the environment, Millgate Ltd. commits to:
Being aware of how its activities, products, and services impact the environment, and complying with relevant environmental legislation, regulations, and other requirements to which the organisation subscribes.
Ensuring compliance and support for client and industry standards, statements, conditions, and requirements.
Identifying objectives across the business aimed at continually improving environmental performance by incorporating environmental considerations into decision-making processes and methods of operation, to minimise environmental impact throughout the lifecycle of plant, equipment, and other physical assets under its control, and to prevent pollution.
Specifically protecting the environment with reference to environmentally significant aspects of work activities.
Ensuring that all Millgate Ltd. activities and services with significant environmental effects at all sites are covered by this policy, and that the policy is implemented, maintained, and communicated to all employees.
Communicating this policy to customers and the general public.
Requiring suppliers and contractors to have proper regard for Millgate Ltd.'s
Environmental Policy in the goods and services they provide.
This policy will be reviewed annually.
