The primary focus of the role is to develop new business through our existing business portfolio and new business development. Another important focus is to also work alongside the internal IT Account Management teams and the Solutions team to fully understand, qualify, propose and close existing customer’s requirements and opportunities. All opportunities must be logged, kept up to date and diligently guided through the typical stages of the sales cycle. This process requires a good understanding of CRM best practice.
This role would ideally suit an engineer who is looking to transition into a more consultative role.

Millgate are a leading IT reseller who turn over 45 Million and following a record period of sustained sales growth, Millgate are now looking to fortify their strong position and expand their sales function with the addition of an experienced account manager.
This is a very unique and rare sales opportunity. As a Business Development Manager at Millgate you will be responsible for providing voice & data solutions to the existing Millgate customer base of over 6000 companies.
The primary focus of the role is cross sell a full suite of telecom services into the existing IT customer base. You will have your own team of ten internal IT Account Managers, your own Telephone Appointment booker and a Sales Support Executive.
The role involves working with your internal team of IT Account Managers to uncover telecom opportunities for you to close.
Millgate also have a unique salary & commission structure which pays Business Development Managers full on-going revenue share for all telecoms services including calls & lines, broadband, data services, networks and business mobile.
